L4T App

We are pleased to announce that L4T is about to release its first app, a daily calendar for parents and caregivers, with ideas and reminders for creating nurturing, thriving families and communities. When ready, the app, Thriving Families Daily, can be downloaded from the iPhone App store.

We would like to recognize the great work of the three student interns who were instrumental in developing the App. Each committed the effort needed to complete this amidst their many student and life activities.

New Family Hui Curriculum

L4T is about to pilot a new Family Hui positive parenting curriculum! Our new Thriving Families curriculum, for parents/caregivers of kids 6 to 12, will join our flagship Bloom 2.0 curriculum for parents/caregivers of children birth to 5. This will expand the impact of our Family Hui program significantly, using our peer-led, resilience-focused Family Hui framework for parents through primary school ages.

Supporting Families and Children in Nepal

L4T is excited to have signed an MOU with Ram Tiawri, the Director of Inclusive Education Nepal (IEN), a nonprofit organization located in Kathmandu. The foundational principle of IEN is, 'Every child matters, not because of who they are, but because they are. When every learner is seen, heard and valued, transformation occurs.' Our partnership aims to foster safe and supportive home and school environments for all children, including children with disabilities and those in marginalized communities. We expect to begin a pilot Family Hui group in late 2025 or early 2026.
